Our primary objective is to help Indians change their culture so that all girl babies will be valued. As you may already know the cost for an international adoption can be in the tens of thousands of dollars for one child. One of our field partners that has a baby home and a domestic adoption program actually has a waiting list for Indian parents that want to adopt a baby girl. Unfortunately, Indian law limits the amount a family can actually pay the orphanage which causes the organization to need to limit the number of adoption based upon a budget. However, that does not restrict The Rhema Project from subsidizing adoptions – for $500 we can fully fund the adoption of an orphan Indian baby girl to an approved Indian family!
