Rhema Prayer Team

Many people have joined the effort by saying they will pray for The Rhema Project and it's work in India.

Below are prayers you can pray based on your area(s) of interest and the needs seen in India.

Rescue & Care

Dear Lord, you ask us to watch over and care for orphans. We ask that you watch over these precious lives until The Rhema Project can find them a home with loving Indian parents. Find parents that want to adopt these girls and love them as their own. In villages we ask that Indian families open their homes to unwanted babies. For those of us with the financial means let us give so that others can do. Amen.

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Education

Dear Lord, the value of education to these girls is immense. Education not only greatly improves a person's economic opportunity but it gives her value and self-worth. Going to school also brings her into community with her friends and keeps her safe. Let her parents understand the value of starting school when she is young and staying in school in her adolescent years. Give her a heart for learning. Guide her teachers. Let her learn so she may teach her parents and her village. Amen.

Job 31:16-18 (The Message) Have I ignored the needs of the poor, turned my back on the indigent. Taken care of my own needs and fed my own face while they languished?

Community Development & Economic Opportunity

Dear Lord, when we have no financial margin in our lives we do not act logically and do not make good choices. Many times we do not believe we have options. In India, this leads to the discrimination of the girl child and many times even her death at the hands of her parents. Lord, give her parents the heart to love their daughters. Allow The Rhema Project to identify the best ways to stabilize a village, a community, a family to that they can live a full life. Amen.

Proverbs 29:7 The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
